Phaseolus vulgaris

A most revered dry bean variety bred and adapted by the Passamaquoddy people of Northeastern US. Rich, meaty and nutty beans that hold excellent form when cooked. A deep earthiness that fills the stomach and the spirit. Jacob’s Cattle Bean mature very, very quickly especially in the cool summers of its homeland. We highly recommend this bean for our fellow short season homesteaders and for those bean hole suppers! A precious jewel!
