Released in 2015 by renown OP breeder Frank Morton at Wild Garden Seed of Philomath, Oregon. Categorized as a romaine but includes additional characterisitcs of butter lettuce and loose leaf. Tender, buttery and sweet with striking green and purple contrasting marbling. Garnish with edible flowers for a showstopping salad both at the harvest table or market stall! Can be harvested as a mini or full size head with excellent texture and flavor. An OSSI-pledged variety!
