Cucurbita pepo
This variety is a first generation cross between Goldini Zucchini and Pantheon Zucchini. Goldini was bred by reknown seed breeder Carol Deppe from Costata Romanesco and Gold Rush parentage. Pantheon is a F1 hybrid also of Costata Romanesco parentage. We are looking to create a golden yellow zucchini with the beautiful ribbing texture and mottling intrinsic to Costata Romanesco. In this crossing you can expect mixed expressions of yellow and green all with the delicious flavors of the infamous Italian heirloom. Both parents have shown excellent vigor and disease resistance.
