Lactuca sativa

Released in 2019 by master lettuce breeder Frank Morton of Wild Garden Seed in Philomath, Oregon. We began growing this variety in 2021 and fell in love with the dazzling array of shapes and colors painted on the leaves. Since then we have been further selecting to emphasize truly sublime patterns and colors. A romaine type with a satisfyingly sweet and juicy crunch. Toothsome dark green and purple leaves scattered with deep purple speckles. Slow to bolt in the summer heat with excellent disease resistance. An OSSI Pledged Variety.
